ヨルシカ (YORUSHIKA) will release “雲を抜け風下へ私だけ” (“Kumo o Nuke Kazashimo e Watashi Dake”) digitally on October 14. The song is serving as the first-cour opening theme for season three of The Apothecary Diaries, which began airing in Japan on October 2. The band’s official announcement confirms the release date.
According to YORUSHIKA’s earlier statement, the song began from an image of wind crossing an open plain before the anime’s “journey” theme sharpened the concept. The October 14 release of Kumo o Nuke Kazashimo e Watashi Dake makes the full track available as a standalone digital single after its television debut. The theme announcement gives that background.
