MEGATERA・ZERO (メガテラ・ゼロ) released ONOGAMI (オノガミ) digitally on October 12, 2026, hours after Dragon Ball Super: Beerus premiered on Fuji TV in Japan. His new song opens the reworked anime series.

ONOGAMI takes its theme from the conviction of Dragon Ball's fighters. MEGATERA・ZERO said he wanted to represent characters who trust their own strength, including both Goku's allies and the opponents they face. The Japanese phrase 己が身 (onogami, one's own self) informs the song's title.

For Life Music Entertainment describes the recording as a driving rock song carried by powerful, expressive vocals. The singer first developed his audience through online cover performances before increasingly releasing his own material.

Premiering on October 11, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus reworks earlier Dragon Ball Super material with added and redrawn footage and a revised narrative structure. ONOGAMI supplies a newly written opening for that familiar story.

The digital single also contains Monochrome Man (モノクロマン), previously released on August 12 as the lead track of MEGATERA・ZERO's first digital album of the same name, plus an instrumental version of ONOGAMI. A CD edition featuring the same three tracks follows on November 25.
