About these releases
Why doesn’t J-POP streaming list every Japanese release?
Around 300 Japanese releases come out every week. With 7 days of 24 hours in a week, that leaves me about 33 minutes and 36 seconds for each release — assuming I never sleep or do anything else. J-POP streaming is run by one person, so the Releases catalogue is a curated selection, not an attempt to document everything released in Japan.
Why doesn’t every release have a streaming link?
Not every Japanese release is available on streaming services. Some are physical-only, Japan-only, released later digitally, restricted by territory, or simply unavailable on the services J-POP streaming can reference. A missing link doesn’t necessarily mean the release is missing — sometimes, the internet just hasn’t caught up with Japan yet.
