After revisiting a song originally written in 2017 with August’s “pink elephant,” Japanese rapper TORAUMA (トラウマ) is looking ahead. Released on October 7, 2026, “Still Walking” introduces his second album, currently in development, with a title borrowed from his solo concert tour.
The single features a beat by Setagaya-based producer ikipedia, who has previously worked with rappers including GADORO and Hannya (般若). TORAUMA first performed the track during his October concerts in Aichi and Osaka, before making the studio recording available digitally.
According to the release announcement, “Still Walking” confronts the contradictions of an eighteen-year career: unresolved doubts, stubborn pride and the determination to continue despite both.
That perspective echoes what TORAUMA shared in his September interview with J-POP streaming. Reflecting on “pink elephant,” he explained that even the lyrics he now finds immature remain connected to the person he has become. The past is something to acknowledge rather than erase.
The release follows TORAUMA’s first solo concert in Tokyo. His Still Walking tour continues with performances scheduled in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, on October 24 and Naha, Okinawa, on November 3.
With no release date announced for his second album, “Still Walking” offers another perspective on an artist who has learned to carry his earlier experiences forward, without letting them decide what comes next.
