Tele, the solo project of 谷口喜多朗 (Kitaro Taniguchi), has written “らびゅー” (“Love You”) for the theatrical film Takopi's Original Sin: Thank You, See You Tomorrow, opening in Japan on November 27. The film re-edits the six-episode anime and adds new scenes; its trailer previews the new song.
Tele previously wrote “がらすの線” (“Garasu no Sen”) as the original series' ending theme. In his comments accompanying the new announcement, he says he wrote for children who deserved love, imagining a day when they might laugh about their present suffering.
The singer-songwriter composes, writes and arranges his own music. Returning to the same story with a different song gives its difficult emotional world another musical perspective. A separate release date for “Love You” has not been announced.
