Gagaga SP will mark the start of its 30th-anniversary year by handing ten songs to a new generation of Japanese artists. Seishun Kakumei, the band's first tribute album, arrives on CD in Japan on December 9, 2026.
The newly announced tracklist includes KYUSONEKOKAMI covering “卒業”, Kariyushi 58 taking on “線香花火” and OOMORI SEIKO interpreting “祭りの準備”. Guitarist Satoshi Yamamoto says Gagaga SP invited younger acts this time, reversing the premise of its 2025 covers album Seishun Ouka. The exchange points to what these songs may become in other musicians’ hands.
