D’ESPAIRSRAY (ディスパーズレイ) will release D’ESPAIRSRAY LIVE 2026 RAPTURE on DVD in Japan on December 9, 2026. Filmed at the sold-out Zepp DiverCity Tokyo on May 4, the 24-song concert brings HIZUMI (vocals), Karyu (guitar), ZERO (bass) and TSUKASA (drums) together for their first full headline show since December 2010. The DVD is priced at ¥9,900, tax included. The band first announced the video in September; the October update confirms the date and complete programme.
Opening with “BORN” and “REDEEMER”, the set travels through “Garnet”, “KAMIKAZE”, “LOVE IS DEAD”, “DEATH POINT” and “MIRROR”, while the then-new “RAPTURE” connects the original quartet to its 2026 recordings. Six encore numbers follow, ending with “abyss”. A Japanese concert report from Vif describes the returning interplay of heavy guitar sounds and HIZUMI's changing vocal delivery. The concert was previously streamed for a limited period; this DVD preserves it on a physical release.
Formed in Tokyo in 1999, the group dissolved in June 2011. The four musicians reunited on stage at a festival in November 2025, followed by the May 2026 headline concert. With their next appearances already scheduled in Asia, Latin America and Europe, the recording now sits between the reunion and a wider return to the road.
