アンティック-珈琲店- (An Cafe) will return to Latin America in May 2027 with concerts in Mexico City and Santiago and an appearance at Anime Summit in Brasília. The itinerary announced by promoter Right in Time brings the Japanese visual kei band back to a region it toured in earlier years. Tickets for the Mexican and Chilean shows go on sale October 24 at noon local time; ticket details for Brazil have yet to be confirmed.
Formed in 2003, An Cafe became associated with the colorful oshare kei side of visual kei, calling its pop-inflected J-Rock “Harajuku Dance Rock.” Its songs include “Kakusei Heroism,” heard in the anime Darker than Black. The five-member band reunited for its twentieth anniversary in 2023, making these new overseas dates another chance to reconnect with audiences beyond Japan.
