Re:name is entering a new phase: the Osaka band has announced its major-label debut with Pony Canyon and confirmed bassist Higashi as a permanent fourth member.
Previously a three-piece with Higashi serving as a support musician, Re:name will release its first major-label digital single, SATISFY, on October 9. The song “SATISFY” was written as the opening theme for the television anime Tempal: The Power of Items, which began broadcasting in Japan on October 2.
The announcement follows the band's tenth anniversary earlier this year, marked by the album 1626. Re:name has also scheduled a headline performance at Osaka's BIGCAT on March 26, 2027. The Pony Canyon announcement confirms the new lineup and release details.
