Japanese hard rock band formed in Otaru, Hokkaido, and led by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Shuichi Aoki. NIGHT HAWKS won a CBS/Sony audition before making their major debut in 1989 with the self-titled album NIGHT HAWKS, developing a blues-rooted hard rock sound that Aoki has continued to reshape across the band’s different lineups.
