group

Formed in Tokyo in the 1990s, syrup16g are a Japanese alternative rock band led by singer and guitarist Takashi Igarashi. Their introspective lyrics and raw guitar sound have shaped a distinctive catalogue since their early recordings. Following a 2008 disbandment, they reunited in 2014 as a trio with bassist Maki Kitada and drummer Daiki Nakahata, releasing Canon Feel in 2026.
