Fishmans

フィッシュマンズ

group

Fishmans emerged from Tokyo's late-1980s scene with a sound rooted in reggae and dub. Under singer-songwriter Shinji Sato, the group moved towards expansive, atmospheric arrangements in the mid-1990s; the one-track album LONG SEASON (1996) became a defining example.
