XG have announced a US-exclusive physical edition of their upcoming single “DEPENDS,” with pre-orders opening on October 8. The two-track release is scheduled for November 6, 2026, while the US CD edition comes in digipak packaging.
Alongside the title track, the release includes “S.A.D.” According to XG’s official announcement, “DEPENDS” addresses the uncertainty of searching for answers rather than choosing a simple yes or no; “S.A.D” focuses on accepting sadness and emotional contradictions. These are the group’s descriptions of the songs, not an assessment based on listening.
The digital release is planned for November 6 at midnight in each territory’s time zone. The label has announced the CD as a US-only product, but has not specified a separate CD street date in the announcement. The physical edition therefore should not be confused with a confirmed worldwide CD release.
