#KTCHAN released “やっぱりあなたはここにいた” (“Yappari Anata wa Koko ni Ita”) on October 11, the day she performed at the 43rd Sengoku MCBATTLE. The digital single follows her return to the battle circuit after two years away.
She finished runner-up at a Sengoku MCBATTLE event in June. In a statement published by Nippon Columbia, she explains that time away let her confront her emotions through her music, but left one question unresolved: had she surpassed her former self? Her return to the stage, and the willingness to risk disappointment, are at the centre of the new song.
