Japanese guitarist 布袋寅泰 (Tomoyasu Hotei), known internationally as HOTEI, will bring GUITARHYTHM to five cities in spring 2027. His newly announced world tour begins in Hong Kong before heading to Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles.
The name reaches back to HOTEI's first solo album, GUITARHYTHM, released on October 5, 1988 after his years with BOØWY. The project brought guitar-driven rock into dialogue with electronic production. Its eighth album, GUITARHYTHM VIII, arrived in April 2025, featuring collaborations with Char and Takkyu Ishino. The tour's musical programme has not yet been announced.

Paris and London are the only European concerts announced so far. For the Paris show, Live Nation's presale opens October 22 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by general ticket sales on October 23 at 10 a.m.
