BOOM BOOM SATELLITES’ THE ALBUMS +One, released in Japan on September 23, 2026, collects the electronic-rock duo’s albums and EPs in a 12-CD box set spanning 110 tracks.
Alongside records such as JOYRIDE, ON and LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME, the collection features “Brand New Drive”, the song released on September 2 by THE SPELLBOUND × BOOM BOOM SATELLITES. The new recording extends Masayuki Nakano’s work with THE SPELLBOUND into the legacy of the band he formed with Michiyuki Kawashima, who died in 2016.
The limited package also includes an 80-page booklet with newly written interviews. The release arrives in the year marking the tenth anniversary of Kawashima’s death, as the project prepares for its October 9 memorial tour finale in Tokyo.
Separately, Nakano revisited the duo’s 2006 anthem “KICK IT OUT” as “KICK IT OUT -reprise-”, released digitally on July 29. That is a distinct track, not a newly announced EP.
