amazarashi have released 『悲しみさえ大人びて』, the opening theme for the TV anime Suikoden, digitally in Japan on October 7.
The song was written specifically for the anime. Hiromu Akita has explained that revisiting Suikoden as an adult changed the way he saw its young characters and their difficult journey. That perspective became the core of a song about growing accustomed to sadness while still choosing to move forward.
The anime began airing in Japan on October 3 and draws on Suikoden II. A CD edition of the song is scheduled for November 18.
