中森明菜 (Akina Nakamori) will sing in an NHK studio for the first time in 17 years. The performance will appear in SONGS Special on October 24, alongside archival footage from her early career and a new interview.
NHK will also broadcast performances from her first concert tour in 20 years on October 31 (BSP4K) and November 7 (BS), followed by another SONGS Special on November 12. The official announcement and Warner Music Japan’s programme details put her present-day voice beside the television archive that documented her rise.
