9Lana has set February 17, 2027 for Puppet, her first original full-length album. Sony Music has confirmed a limited CD edition with a seven-inch, three-panel jacket and an owner's card, alongside a digital release. The tracklist has not yet been announced.
Since her major-label debut in 2024, 9Lana has built a repertoire around contrasting vocal characters, moving between songs such as “BALALAIKA” and her anime work for Pokémon and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. The new album will combine earlier releases with new songs, offering a first full-length setting for those different approaches.
Illustrator Den (でん), who worked on earlier 9Lana artwork, has designed the new cover. As the official Sony Music announcement makes clear, the release date and formats are fixed, but the sequence of songs—and how they will fit together—remains to be discovered.
